Mora Therapy and Allergies

Mora Therapy and Allergies

Specialist Dr. Mustafa Çalık

Allergic diseases are among the leading health issues that are increasingly prevalent today. The most important reasons for this situation are the environmental factors that started to change with industrialization and the differentiation in nutritional habits. Pollens, house dust mites, mold fungi, cockroaches, cat-dog allergens, various foods (milk, eggs, wheat, soy, walnuts, hazelnuts, fish, and shellfish, etc.), intense drug usage habits, fast food style diets, and additives in packaged food products have increased allergic reactions in many systems, primarily respiratory and skin.

Allergens are particles that are normally harmless to most people. However, they cause allergic diseases in people with an atopic body, meaning those prone to allergy development". Allergy not only causes respiratory complaints (such as wheezing, shortness of breath, sneezing, runny nose) in patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis, but is also a constant cause of fatigue and weakness. Particularly, many anti-allergic medications lead to patients experiencing their days with fatigue and sometimes dizziness.

Mora Therapy is a complementary medical method that has been successfully applied in many areas, especially allergy treatment, for about 30-35 years, primarily in Germany and many other European countries. The area where Mora Therapy has the most experience but also requires the most clinical experience is allergy.

A significant portion of the patients who apply to our chest diseases outpatient clinic are those with allergic reasons (asthma and allergic rhinitis). The results for those patients who accepted and requested to enter allergy treatment sessions with Mora Therapy in addition to conventional antiasthmatic and antiallergic treatment (inhaled steroids, beta-agonists, leukotriene antagonists, and antihistamines) seem quite satisfactory. Patient satisfaction (ompletely stopping medications, a slight, moderate or significant reduction in the need for medication) is in line with the results of studies conducted on allergy treatment with Mora-bioresonance, especially in Germany and also in other European countries (with success or satisfaction around 80%).

To mention our own experiences with the use of Mora Therapy in allergy treatment... In patient groups known to have mold fungi, house dust mites, cat allergies, and food allergies (such as wheat, milk, eggs), patient satisfaction due to the passing of complaints or symptom control was quite evident.  A significant portion of the patients in this group either completely stopped taking asthma medications (especially combination medications) or their need for them decreased significantly (it is recommended that asthma patients continue to be monitored by a chest diseases specialist after Mora Therapy). However, in patients known to have pollen allergies (most importantly, meadow-grass, cereals, alder, birch, elm, willow tree pollens, wild plants like mugwort and plantain), the treatment success was satisfactory but not completely successful in most patients because the supply of allergens for treatment was not entirely ideal.

These very important and encouraging results we have obtained in asthma and allergy will be published in the upcoming period. I believe the success of Mora Therapy will bring a new dimension to the discussions and treatment protocols in this field. In addition to these successful results, the fact that the treatment has no known side effects is an important indicator that this treatment will become widespread in the future.
